What is an S-line?
I picked up a 2016 Q5 S-line 48 hours ago, except I didn't know it was an S-line, or even what that means. I knew it was a Premium Plus 3.0T.
Photos. Since the weather is bad I don't have great photos.
Can anyone enlighten me as to what the "S-Line" option entails?
Thanks,
Jim

***EDIT***
I just wanted to say thanks to MrKnowItAll for letting us all know that only you can answer this correctly. Thanks for taking the time to send me a private message to correct me and to let me know that I'm wrong. I guess everyone else answered this question incorrectly also since you had to "accurately" answer it for us and all of our answers were similar.
Your window sticker should show a breakdown of each package on the vehicle. If you don't have one your local dealership can print a copy of it for you.

The weather may be bad but the Q can handle it.
If you go to Audi.com and Build a 2016 Q5 Premium Plus S-line you will see what you get. But it looks like your Q was ordered with Comfort seats and not Sport seats. I prefer the Comfort seats because.................they are more comfortable. As we get older we appreciate a wider base for our wider base. Here is the list from the site.
Maybe the "competition plus package" has a few more items than just a S-line.
Enjoy it, Bob
S line® competition plus package
Body-colored doorsill blades
Headlight washing system
Deflector vane
Black cloth headliner
Nameplate set in base trim
Adaptive Cruise Control
Sport front seats
Four-way power lumbar adjustment for front seats
Trunk sill protection in stainless steel

Exact Specs Outlined by Audi USA:
- Body-colored doorsill blades
- Headlight washing system
- Deflector vane
- Black cloth headliner
- Nameplate set in base trim
- Adaptive Cruise Control
- Sport front seats
- Four-way power lumbar adjustment for front seats

I have heard in the past it included Audi Drive Select which is pretty much standard nowadays.

Thanks guys! Now I get it. As pointed out though, I do not have the sports seats, and I am glad for that! I'm not a narrow guy and get enough of the sports seats in my Saturn Sky Redline.

Beautiful Q. I can accurately answer your question.
Your Q appears to be a Premium Plus model with the 3.0 engine. When you opt for the Premium plus with the 2.0 engine, it will come with the standard exterior styling. The bigger engine will come with the S-Line sports exterior styling. This includes the badging, interior door sills, more pronounced front fog grille, etc.
The interior S-Line sports package is a separate feature your car does not have. It comes with sport seats, flat bottom steering wheel, black headliner, etc.
We used to have a 2012 Q with the same exact color combination you bought and we loved it! Congrats on your purchase.
