Exactly what I'm hoping for. I'm not waiting for better equipment but I'd be happy to see a better value.

Some parts could be in excess (backup cameras, etc...) and could be included in MY2015 Q5s before all the retooling for 2016s.

One can hope ;-)

Keep checking back to get revised dates, but normally the Q5 production run ends in March and new model ordering is in April.
We have a 2014 Q5 TDI on ED order for delivery 9 May. We've been notified it has a start of production date of the week of 31 Mar. No notice from anyone regarding it being a 2015 build/cost/option so I'm assuming it will be one of the last of the 14's. Will find out for sure in about 4 weeks as build completes and VIN is confirmed. Had a similar thing happen with our 2011 Z4 ED they switched over in mid Mar of 2010 and we ended up with an early 11 MY version.

Default Our 2013 Euro delivery was built as late as the first week of May,

so if your delivery date is around then, I have little doubt it will remain a 2014. Our delivery date was actually mid July at Ingolstadt, but they still ran it as a 2013. I had a sense they were shutting down the line for the annual changeover and what ever vacation break they do. Hence early May was probably the last call for the builds for a while, and July delivery even on ED was just a bit too early.

on April 20th by Audi, even though the dealer contacted Audi corporate to confirm that I could still special order on April, 15th. This wasn't a re-yeared 2013 car as it came with the updated engine and standard options. The car arrived at the dealer (US, PA) on June 25th. It sat at port for 8 days or so, as Adi said the offical 2014 pricing was not yet released and they didn't want people seeing the window sitcker prices, plus they also wanted to sell remaining 2013 first. From what I know my 2014 was the first delivered in the US. I forgot the production date.
