Default 2019 SQ5 order placed - with pricing

Thought others may find this useful. Placed my order this past week and was mildly surprised when the dealership said the had 'as built' pricing. I was a bit shocked when I saw the MSRP was a couple grand more than I was expecting so I did an equivalent build for 2018 and found the delta to be ~$2k. Now there might be some options that are included standard, or in the PP in 2019 that weren't in 2018 that would explain some of the difference, but a $2K difference, potentially just because of the new tariffs, is seriously making me think about finding a 2018 and just blacking out the trim myself. I actually need the car before the end of Jan, so that's likely to weigh on my decision also. I'm likely to find a better deal on a 2018 anyway :|

L5LF - Florett Silver
OQ - Rotor Gray
PPU - S Sport package - 3000
WPS - Premium Plus - 5800
1N8 - Dynamic Steering - 1150
5MK - Inlays - Carbon Atlas - 500
9VS - B&O sound system - 950
N2R - Fine Nappa leather - 1000
Q29 - Black Optic plus - 600

MSRP: 66990

Production week 4814
Production Complete 12/22/2018
Domestic Port Arrive 01/23/2019

2018 equivalent build - 64325
2019 build w/o black optics - 66390

2019/18 Difference: ~ +2065

You will love the rotor grey interior. I just got one and it's very handsome. Good news is that you don't have to go black interior and be Black Bart

Don't know where you are at, but here in New England there seems to be a few cars that would come close to your build. They are also dealing, or at least were thru yesterday, the close of the quarter. I took delivery yesterday, buying it on tuesday. In fact the salesman came back to me and "offered me a deal I couldn't refuse," as I was on my way out the door on a car that matched my wants. Even going with the Prestige and putting on the extra goodies would still be $1500 less than the $66+ you were quoted. Of course you'll have to sacrifice the black optics.......

you are right - unless you were hoping to order a '19 P+ without the Nav package (includes virtual cockpit), don't feel too bad about your cost being roughly $2k more. the nav pkg is now included with the '19's, but is a $2600 add-on for the '18's. also, from your build list that ronsal quoted, it looks like the fine nappa went down $250.

My equivalent build did include the nav package. I think nappa leather went down 250 because of the standard inclusion of the 'leatherette covered center console and armrests' in PP.

From what I can tell, the differences between the 2018 PP and 2019 PP are:

* parking system plus (which I forgot to include in my original calc, don't know how much that is worth)
* the above inclusion of leatherette covered center console and armrests
* Nav system

The only difference I couldn't account for in the 2018 build is the parking system plus, which I can't believe is worth 2k, so I'm still left wondering. Though as I whittle this down, I'll probably find some extras to account for some more of the difference.

parking system plus looks to be standard on PP for 2018 SQ5's as well.

Only other differences i see are the new "phone box" and standard all weather mats if you get the cold weather package which the OP doesn't list.
