I wouldn't buy a 2018. First year kinks are hopefully fixed with the 2019s, not to mention that if you pay for Audi Connect, Google Maps is going away on the 2018s in (or after?) 2020

If we get a Q5, we will be forced to get a 18, as do not want to take a risk that our trade in value will go down a lot while we wait until March or April for our car to be built. Would rather get a 19 and not a first model year car, but bad timing. Also, at least at my dealer the 18's are much cheaper than the incoming 19's, but still takes too long to build.

Even though the 18 is a first year, if it is a later build, that would mean it has a goodly amount of cars behind it. The 18's were first sold in april/may of 17, and were still being built into the late summer of 18. So you could say that a late build 18 is really about a year and a half old.. As pointed out, there will be very few changes to the 19's

Default how much negative equity did you pay

how much negative equity did you pay for it, or if it is cash purchase, what was the net difference ? 30?
