Yup. They ain’t actually cutting and welding the exhaust at the port. I’ll keep my current stock setup thank you.

Looks like a grill from a 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe... Audi could have done a lot better on this “refresh”

I was hopeful that the new tips were real when i saw them, very disappointed they weren't. Not to beat a dead horse but for the life of me I can't understand why Audi would do this and muck up what is otherwise a really nice car. Might be a deal breaker for me.

I don’t mind the fake exhausts. It does keep that area clean and to most people they will look real. Audi does offer real ones as a port installed accessory so there is that for anyone that wants it. I’m waiting until I get mine to decide if I’ll get the accessory exhaust or not. From the Canadian pricing guide, they should not be too expensive and make for a weekend project.

I also noticed the V6T badges on the front fenders were removed for the refresh. Was surprised to see that.

Keeps them clean. I've owned a number of cars with real quad pipes (Mercedes AMG and Audi S4) and keeping those exhaust tips clean was impossible. The AMG ones were a bit easier to keep looking half way decent but the ones on the S4 looked terrible from almost the beginning.

I just came out of a 2018 SQ5 with the true fake exhaust. Thought it looked crappy initially, but it grew on me. So easy to clean the rear. I think the 2021 is an improvement. I hope it remains similarly clean (and easy to clean).

In all my years owning cars I never once thought about cleaning the exhaust tips. Admittedly I live in the city and rely on car washes but still. The more I see this the more ridiculous it is. If anything the current gen fakes make more sense b/c they aren't even trying to look like real tips, but this is like having a plastic model car with fake parts.

Some people are saying you can actually get real functional exhaust as a port installed option. Stupid for Audi to even entertain a fake quad exhaust option. It's almost as if you're forced to upgrade to real ones.

I doubt it. They aren’t going to be cutting and welding exhaust at the port.
