Thanks very much. I'm looking for a replacement for the piano black plate but cannot find the part number for it. Any ideas on that?

So what exact steps did you have to go through to remove the piano black trim? I really hate mine and would love to get it off the console to wrap it. or replace it with a matte part from a Q5.

Using trim removal tools, it popped off. Looking at the picture in post #2, the clips are probably located in the 7 or 8 rectangular holes you see all around. That should tell you where to pry.

I found this on eBay to cover the piano black trim for $48.00 I am very happy with the fit and finish, it simply lays on top of the factory trim with 3m trim tape. Very solid install and clean.

Fully agree!

1) I'd love to know the part number of the black piano portion of the trim plate. Not the full trim plate; just the black plastic portion. Anyone know?

2) Anyone know where to get a Non-Black version? I know all about the covering of it with grey carbon fiber etc. But a full swap out of it would be far better!!

I did use some extra 3m trim tape (double-sided red) on the back side to make sure it stayed more secure, I have had it installed now about two weeks and love it! It look like it came from the factory and fits like a glove as well.
