It's a good point you make....as well as the other earlier about the foam supporting the floor! I'm still wondering about the empty space directly below/inside the 90 degree orange piece....looks like something is supposed to go there. Anyone?

Ok well here’s my (temporary) solution to storage... until I can let go of more things i don’t need lol...
$6 at Home Depot husky 5 gallon box that even matches black and red and a bungee cord... hopefully it holds in place...

Not disagreeing with you on this!

The Q5/SQ5 have a ridiculous shortage of storage. They could have given space under the rear seat (which would have been nice). Right now I have my 2 Costco cooler bags (which go flat) floating around the back area since there absolutely no where to tuck them in.

Im going to try your method to see if I can eliminate all of this somehow... plug kit and screwdrivers must stay somewhere but the other stuff I guess can go bye bye... just feel like as soon as I take out the battery jump starter I’ll need it lol... guess for trips it can all go back otherwise to the garage like your tools lol?

no, it’s an actual plug kit. The beef jerky looking like things... so if a Nail gets in, you pull it out and then insert the plug and add air. Have used it on the road at least three times...
