Default Audio aux in

I need to feed in 3.5” audio plug to aux input on a 2023 q5 prestige. Do I get a 3.5” to usbc adapter and use the ‘2’ usbc port in the back of the central console? Where’s the actual aux in?

FWIW, in the 2020 Q5 the Audi music interface AUX input is located in the storage compartment under the center armrest and is labeled with AUX. I can't imagine they would have deleted it.

Then you don’t have a good enough imagination.

Both my 2021 SQ5 and 2022 RS5 have the same USB-C input where DrexLex explained. Just use a 3.5mm to USB-C cable and your car should recognize it. I use an IPOD Touch (Lightning connector) and it works perfectly. Charges when the ignition is on and I can control it with the steering wheel controls.

We go direct USB-C from a portable SSD from music ripped in a lossless format (i.e. .flac) and it all sounds great. SSDs are quite inexpensive given their capacity to hold tens of thousands of files. Just an idea.

But does it pass analog audio like the OP needs?

They removed the Aux input with the facelift B9.5.
