Cardiagn is fine for a quick lookup, but they don't have everything, and they don't have the latest revisions.
The bigger problem with them is if you attempt to download them as a local PDF, it basically prints each page as a massive image and the PDF is just a collection of images. The file sizes are insane, and you can't search anything. At least that was the case for the D4 A8 wiring diagrams. It made a 1/2 GB PDF.

I agree with aclass, thanks to everyone’s input. I’m out of factory warranty now, and enjoy wrenching and maintaining my vehicles with the little stuff. I think I’ll give the ERwin direction a try.
