No they are not. These are ultrasonic sensors.

Yeah, no. Here are the schematics directly from ELSA. There are 3 microphones, 2 voice and 1 ambient, and 3 alarm sensors, located at the base of the overhead lamp module. I've torn apart this module hundreds of times across several dozen vehicles, including our corporate test fleet of Q7s, B9s and my personal allroad + SQ5.

Sorry for bumping up an old topic. I think this is better than creating a new one. I also didn't know what those 2 big black things were before I came across this site. I thought they were buttons and pressed them pretty hard several times. I was wondering if that did any damage to the microphones?
