I have a 2019 Q5 Premium Plus and was wondering if this model supports Wireless Apple Carplay via WiFi & Bluetooth. The Audi tutorials are not too clear as to the specific models. Any info would help, Thanks.

To the best of my knowledge, no. You need to connect your iPhone via the Lightning to USB cable.

Correct, only the new touchscreen MMI system in the 6/7/8/e-Tron currently supports wireless CarPlay. Updates to other models that include the new MMI will likely inherit it, too.

Confirming @rccoleman 2019 Audi Q5 all trim levels does not support wireless CarPlay. I was told by my sales rep it did and spent a week trying to get it to work before confirming with Audi that it does not.
I believe that any MMI that is not touchscreen does not support it.

Wireless CarPlay is activated via WiFi via yearly subscription.

Are you saying a WiFi yearly subscription for all models? My wireless works after a year and a half, and I don't have a WiFi subscription.

Pre-2021 Q5 do not support wireless CarPlay, they lack the required 5GHz WiFi hardware. You can add wireless CarPlay with CarlinKit 2.0 or similar, works pretty well.

No it does not. There are a few aftermarket products that will do that for you. I can not attest to how well they work. They also make a few for Android phones. I have an android phone and the AAWireless works great with Audi, Just like your phone is plugged in. Do some research on the different Apple compatible devices and you should find one that will work good on a Audi
