Default Lumbar support control specifics

The "forward/backward" buttons on the lumber wheel appear to push out/pull back the lumbar support but it's not very apparent what the "up/down" buttons do. Anyone know what the up/down buttons do? The manual doesn't state specifically what either do — it just says press the button in the desired direction.

up and down do what you'd expect from up and down. It's just not very significant, and might be unnoticed depending where you have the lumbar horizontally positioned.
