Alright, thanks for the quick response. I might give these guys a go then since they're a bit cheaper:

I've seen them discussed in the Audizine forum.

Thanks for posting this. I like the way the canvasliner's look, so I'll be purchasing my own. The price is higher than the Canvas Back's, but I get the impression they are a bit more custom and will fit better.

You are right, my mistake. I'm sure OP is more than capable of responding to your wiseass comment about his personal choice to make life easier for his pets.

You can teach us old dogs new tricks
Yep, noticed the 13-yo dog having arthritis on the longer hikes; jumping up is MUCH harder for her, and the impact from jumping down also seems to hurt her .
A younger me would have been happy/faster to squat and lift both dogs up if needed, but my 5-vertebrae-fusion doc said to watch out what I lift.
daberlin: thanks for that dog's-feeling empathy.
GhostGR: I can't imagine how tough cancer must be to deal with, all my stuff is only ortho/pain limiting. But I bet we both enjoy the quality of life boost from our dogs.
