Audi finally agreed to have a conference call with me tomorrow to discuss the vehicle. Only after I found out they called the wrong dealer in a completely different state, didn’t read the purchase agreement I sent them and had the wrong purchase dealer marked, as well as multiple other errors in their review. I don’t see how someone could screw an investigation up so poorly. I guess it just gives me more ammo for my attorney if I have to go that route.

Default Same issue

I have 22 Q5 hybrid, same electric malfunction code, a few times since we purchased in April. One service advisor told me “if you start and stop it 5 times in a row will reset”. He’s right, and it’s worked but why have I even thought to make such an unsafe concession on such an expensive BRAND NEW CAR……I dropped my car off again yesterday at the dealership, not taking it back this time. Sad but relieved it isn’t just me. It happened again this weekend and about got me in a serious accident.

I am currently waiting for a response for my buyback with Audi for my 22 Q5hybrid. Did the "Electrical Malfunction" full stop 4-5 times in the 6 months we've owned it. Dealer so far has been great, curious how reasonable Audi was with your buyback after speaking with them the second time?

They budged on the 2nd call. That’s when they offered the buyback. I stressed the safety of the vehicle and did not bring up any potential help with legal advice.

Ok, good to know. I did report mine to NHS. While looking at current inventory, my stomach turned seeing how many preowned Q5e's were for sale with under 5000 miles....if its the same issue, makes me sick to think of what could happen after the accident I was almost in due to this happening. These cars should NOT be resold until there is a fix.
