Default USB Port Relocated
Like the A4/A5 the Q5 now has 1 USB port relocated to the front of the dash. However, I have no idea where they expect you to keep your phone when using this port.

Is this for the new 2018 Q5?

I do find it difficult to manage my phone connected via USB from storage compartment.

Is it possible to update a very recent (within months) Q5 for this configuration?

Just a mid model year update. Probably not the easiest thing to retrofit.

My car was built last month (1017) and I don't have that USB there...

I I like this... but those new quick access buttons and the removal of the track pad look terrible...what a regression in design and functionality. I’m glad I have the first gen.

wait... is this a pic of an A4?

Definitely not an A4, but either way I like the touch pad there rather than where it is now.

This is a car without nav. No design change.

Looking at the build and price now (Canadian version anyways) it has the usb added. Wish they would’ve done this from the get go!

They’ve also added the glacier white metallic colour choice now too

I don't know exactly when this was added. The car pictured was built on 10/24/2017 but I had another car come in that was built on 11/02/2017 and it did not have this change.
