Default Using different sized tires

My friend gave me a set of 245/40 R20 winter tires and wheels (20x8.5) from his X3. It looks like they'll fit my SQ5 but I plugged it into a tire calculator and it's off by 4.5%

Would this be a big deal aside from the speedometer being off?

If you have 245/40R 20 tyres then the wheel would be from the Gen II (F25) X3. That would be a PCD 5 x 120. The Q5 uses a PCD of 5 x 112.
These are the specs of SQ5 21" v's X3 20" wheels:
SQ5 Size 8.5J x 21 ET 34
X3 Size 8.5J x 20 ET 38
SQ5 PCD 5 x 112
X3 PDC 5 x 120
SQ5 Tyres 255/40R 21
X3 Tyres 245/40ZR 20
SQ5 center bore 66.5mm
X3 center bore 72.6mm
SQ5 tread size M14 x 1.5
X3 tread size M14 x 1.25

The tyre size is just one of the issues you will have then main one will be correct fitting of the wheel. It may look to fit but it won't fit safety.

It's from a G01 X3 and he said the wheels are 5x112.

G01 X3 runs 8J x 20 ET 27 rims, 5 x 112 PCD with 245/45R 20 tyres for winter.
I'll be questioning why the 40 profile tyres then.
