Why would anyone get a non hybrid Q5?

Generally the Automakers for PHEV and EV warrant that the batteries will retain 80% capacity for a certain time period. For our Chevy Volt it is 8 year/100K miles, and Audi has done the same for the Q5 PHEV, battery and electrical drive components have 8y/100K mile warrant which, to my understanding, has the same 80% rule on the battery. That doesn't mean they stop working or break, just that the battery won't be like new, which after 8 years, I've seen ICE engines loose some power with out some expensive fixes (carbon build up, converter blockage, etc...).
Yes, likely will have some affect on re-sail value, but even at 5 years your under factory warranty for the EV portion for another 3 years.
