Haaa! I think it was just timing. My local dealership had one allotment that hadn't sold going into production. They had another dealership that wanted to trade allotments to get this as that dealer had a buyer. They had an agreement to trade on the Monday after I bought mine and the car was going into production Monday. They were happy to make the sale themselves. I knew none of this before I bought but was pleasantly surprised after the fact. I had expected a 3+ month wait but they said I should have it by Mid-March or earlier. Keeping fingers crossed.....

Oh and my salesperson was another woman!

We have a new dealer who will open this week, and has 2 Q7 units in stock. We wanted to compare it with our 2007 GL450, and are impressed. I found the website offers the S Line with only black leather, his info showed other colors, Expresso Brown and white would be the selection. It is a great looking vehicle and can't wait to place the order. Has anyone selected the air suspension? It has been a nightmare for the GL.

I'm on my 2nd Q7 with air suspension - never any service needed - wouldn't order without it.

My dealer opens on 2-20-12, he has an allotment for a Q7,so we'll be waiting!

I ordered my q7 mid Jan 2012. Order hasn't been picked up by Audi however I've been assured I should get it for the end of March and beginning of April.

Fingers crossed, I can't wait so excited!

Ordered ours today.333 HP,S Line, Glacier white, cardamom interior, air suspension, running boards,rear air bags and wheel locks.Now for the wait! There is one in showroom, looks great!!
