this only happened when towing a caravan behind my q7 up a slight long hill - when in eighth gear the engine would
suddenly rev and stay abit revvy until I pulled over and switched car off. Switch straight back on again and was back to normal. This has happened a few times
bit only when towing. If I drive in sports mode or don’t go into 8th gear it doesn’t happen

however I am currently in southern France but 50 miles from destination car pulled away but felt like going over bumpy road. Pulled over looked under bonnect and could see a fuel injector had popped out. Currently at garage awaiting diagnosis.

Could the fuel injector issue and
rorwue converter pop out be related ?
