the'll still get a fix, but they dont have to meet original certifications just a reduced.. probably something to do w/the newer engine's ability to warm up quicker if I had to make an educated guess... think they changed the EGR and Oil Coolers and a few other things IIRC.

but who'd fix it with the sweet buyout price? not many I suspect.

Not I. I still like it but not THAT ($40k) much!

There's a bunch of guys buying gen2's just for the fix payout and they plan to resell em afterwords.. I have a feeling shortly after the fix comes out the market will be flooded with cheap Gen2's.. If you really want to keep it you could probably step up into a 2014 or 2015 with less miles and better optioned and a great powertrain warranty if you play your cards right.
