Default CD player on my Q7 went out of order

anyone encountered the same problem?

I get my Q7 3.6 from the dealer last week, and it really gave me a lot of excitings. The first thing I did to my CD player is to burn some mp3 music CDs (see below for how I did it) and insert them into the CD player, it was really amazing to enjoy the Bose system playing the wonderful songs. But that didn't last too long before I found the CD player cannot recognize the CD any more, or sometimes it chirps in the same way as if the CD disc is badly damaged.

The dealer agreed to order a replacement for the CD player from Audi Germany, but I feel very unconfident about the quality. Any buddy here have similar problems? or maybe, that is not on Q7, but some other audi series?

thanks.

and here is how I burnt the CDs: I used Nero burner, and used the option of "Music jukebox" to burn it. Approximately 160 songs in MP3 format can be put in one disc of 700 Mega bytes. Is there any problems of that?

Default Does your CD player still play the regular music CD? If so, I think the

problem is on your media, not CD player. Try some different blank CD to burn MP3 CDs. Some cheaper blank has poor reflect surfaces.

create as a "data" disc, not music.

Chances are that you did not burn MP3 with proper file structure outlined in MMI Manual.

Default One of the best CD players

I tried with one burned CD which works only in a few players. CD is almost "see through". It works! No problems. Amazing.

It's funny that people think that they have BOSE or Harman Kardon systems in their car. All those systems are designed and manufactured company called Harman/Becker. Take a look their web site. They deliver systems to BMW, Daimler, VAG, PSA etc. Also Maybach have same system.
