Default does your cargo mat fit this poorly?

I bought an audi OEM cargo mat a few months ago for my 2011 Q7 sline. Finally got around to putting it in last week and have to say Im a little disappointed. It appears to be too small with the sides not really matching the profile of the car. Anyone else experience this?

I have installed many of the OEM cargo mats in all models of Audi's and they fit perfectly. I am curious if your mat is for a different year of Q7. I am not sure if they changed the shape of the mats for different years of the Q7 but I have never seen one fit like yours. They do take some time to settle in but they do not "grow to fit". I will do some research to see if the design changed by model year. What year is your Q?

2013 is the same as well. Definitely far from being "perfectly fit". Pretty poor IMO.

My 2010 CPO came with the cargo may and it fits just as sloppy.

My Q7 rear rubber cargo map fits perfectly. It doesn't have that problem you have... But I own a non S-line.
