Knocking

Knocking
I am hearing a knocking coming from the back of the car, I think somewhere around where the rear sunroof controls and the sunshade motors are. Has anyone experienced that?

It appears to have come from our right hand back seat back (2nd row). We tried a number of things and found that my adjusting the seat forward a little from the all-the-way-back position, the knocking went away. It also went away when someone is sitting in the seat.

Welcome FFN. What year/model is your car? Some people just added a bit of electrical tape to the latch spud for the centre section where it can fold down seperately. That was an early problem. Havent heard of it for a while

that is the post that rattles. I suggest putting middle seat down first to check if rattle stops before binding post.
