Default Replace The High Wear Parts!

I should note that I also replaced the blower motor resistor (3C0907521F), as I have heard that sometimes the failures come in pairs, with the resistor output causing wear to the motor, making it difficult to troubleshoot.
The front HVAC blower motor is fairly simple to replace, and it will eventually fail since it operates nearly continuously unless you manually turn it off, etc. It does use a variable resistor to control the speed of the fan, which also can go bad over time, but is a separate part from the blower motor, etc. Normally, if you notice your fan has been making some noise/struggles prior to completely failing, it's just going to be the blower motor has seized up, and that's generally all you need to replace to get it going. My car actually threw a code regards to the blower motor...this is why we scan for trouble codes.

As noted by others above, some have tried replacing these HVAC blower related parts w/o scanning the car for trouble codes first, and the new parts did zip/nada/nothing after installed. ALWAYS scan this car first before you throw parts at it.
