Remote matching
Hi,
how can I match remotes to my Q7 (2007)? I have tried many different procedures that usually works with audis but none seem to work.
I have VCDS if that helps. But the procedures listed in ross-tech website do not work either, mentioned channels are not available when browsing with VCDS.

Do you mean extra keys? If so you must bring all keys (inc valet) and the car to Audi and have them matched via the mothership in Germany at the same time. VCDS no use for this one.

Hi,
do you mean that not even remote matching (for door open / close) is possible without dealer?
I know that key matching for the immobilizer must be done at the dealer.
What I am trying to do: Both my old remotes have a very low operating distance. I bought a new remote (with same part number) from Ebay just to test if another remote gives longer operating distance.
