Default Rims for the Q7

Thinking of putting some aftermarket wheels on my 2008 Q7 s-line. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks

Hi there, what kind of rims do you have on? I personally love the 21" OEM S-Line wheels and can not see this with any others (aside from OEM).

Default I have the 19" stock wheels on it now.

Those are the rims it came with.

Hi there,

This will come down to preference here. I will say that the Q7 “looks” a lot better on 20”s/21”s (and even seen on 22”s).

I would still prefer the 21”s S-Line version if you are willing to sacrifice a tad bit more of a “bumpy” ride.

My first Q7 had 20” double spoke which are also very cool and handle a bit better.

I believe there are some New Q7 2010 wheel versions available as well (ebay & Dealership).

If I had to choose something aside from OEM. I would choose: BBS, OZ or SSR, NO CHROME!

Best of luck!

When I get tired of my 21" S-line wheels, I'm going to get a set of Rinspeed wheels. I think they are one of the nicest looking wheels for SUVs.

Default I was looking at those Rinspeed as well.

I am just a bit worried about going as big as 22" and how badly it would affect the ride. Also, would it do any harm to the electronic suspension?

I'm running on 22's and I don't notice the ride being that much rougher then when I was on 18's. I had to use wheel spacer and longer lug bolts to get them on to the Q7. Tirerack has a set of 22's from OZ racing Raffaello III that uses no spacers and the original lug bolts and center cap from your OEM rims but their cost per rim are $1182 for the 22X10 front and optional 22X11 $1220 rears.

Seems there is now a 22" version of the 7-spoke S-line wheel

I just emailed them for more details
