Default For those that've done the Sirius/XM module install .... question.

What plugs into the left most socket in the picture? I checked last night, and I've got the power plug, the green and brown antennae wires and then I've got this other thing that's wrapped in foam. It's hard to describe without a pick (I'll take one this weekend) but it's a cable with a plastic loop at the end of it. Appears that the cable could unplug from the loop, but I wasn't going to touch it since I don't actually have the sat radio receiver yet.

Default If you do. Let me know what that cable looks like.

The dealer isn't being much help in telling me if our Q is pre-wired.

Default It's the fiberoptic connect, but...

...that connector socket on the left doesn't look like the one that's on the back of the Sirius module I took out of my Q7 (12/06 build date.

The one on my module is virtually the same size as the middle one, although the connector that does into it is different.

Default Oblu You've bought the wrong part number - 8E0 part is what you are showing

You need a 4E0 part number for MMI vehicles. The module you have is for non MMI vehicles (A4/S4, A3, old TT etc..)
