Hi Shawn. I id have this occur 4 times an in all instances it was a different injector that was faulty. This happened several kilometers apart from each injector. After the first experience, I learnt some tricks.

So yes if that pipe comes of, it is definitely a injector. I diagnosed this in a simple way by putting a socket extension or a long screw driver on the injector and to my ear. You will very easily identify the injector that is sounding irradical
