VagCom Changes and Modifications MMI-3G+...
Just sayin...
You win some, you lose some. I'm hoping the third kit will be the charm for my '10, as I really want my Carplay back in the Q7.Good luck!

Still shuts off when I kill the ignition and doesn't remain on until i open the door, like the radio, etc. does., but I can live with that.
Sure, I can code the 'convenience functions' on car to allow it to use the remote fob for the windows, as well. I tested your described key fob sequence on my '10, and it did nothing but lock/unlock the doors, so that's not the default setting ...not terribly shocking for the North America market, where we don't get all the best settings, options, (headlights), and some cool features active in Euro market cars, etc.
Curious about this... what does this entail and result in? (And I'm referring the the Cayenne shift map please).
That said, the old-school trick was to swap the shift map in the TCU (Ross-Tech VCDS VAGCOM) from the 'dieselgate profile' to a standard, unadulterated shift profile from a different (shared platform) car, such as the T-Reg or Cayenne map, etc. It's far from perfect, as the overarching TCU emissions supporting program still applies, but feels better than the Audi/emissions tune map profile, which, btw, is actually labeled as an emissions fix Q7 shift map profile in the TCU. The idea is to switch to a shift map that is tight rather than the poor performing one that is dedicated to emissions reduction/poor performance. It's not a fix, but just something to make a slight improvement in transmission feel/action. By far the best option is simply to use the sport mode on the transmission, which is night/day better than the normal D-mode on an emissions-fixed TDI. Whenever I get to a stoplight/intersection, or turning in front of traffic etc., I pull it down into S-mode to get rid of the tranny/throttle hesitation and let it rip if needed to safely get across the intersection...works wonders, then if I want sedate, I move the selector back to D-mode.
