Default $2,812.65 to replace a 2021 Q7 Windshield?!

Roughly $1,900 for the windshield and another $900 to calibrate the cameras and sensors attached to it.

Does that sound right?

Hell no!

I've had 3 replacements - OEM glass was $950, total install cost was $1,148. Every install done in my driveway, no calibration, zero issues.

Check the threads. Lot of people got the windshield replaced with safelite or other companies with a $50/$100 deductible and did not have to re-calibreate any cameras.
$900 for recalibration seems too much, I recall seeing $150 for it.

I just came home from my 4th windshield replacement in my Q7. Unfortunately the guy who did the first 3 now only does work for dealerships, so I had to use Safelite, which I have avoided due to bad experience with my prior Q7.

Total replacement cost with Safelite was $847.45. They said they had to do calibration - $300, included in the $847.45 total. They used Pilkington glass, and I must say they did a nice job. I can't find any flaws around the seal or A pillars.

Mine was about $2,200 for a Q8--900 for OEM windsheild and $1,300 for "calibration". Insurance picked up all but my deductible.

Believe it or not each crack was the result of a rock hit during my commute to work on I-25. When you live in the desert lots of gravel makes it into tires and on road surfaces.

My wife's Kia Sorento will have a windshield replacement tomorrow - her 2nd this year. Quote with Safelite is almost identical to my Q7.

I cannot find the paperwork on my last Q7 windshield replacement.
I will tell you my insurance originally only wanted to pay out $1350 through safelite for my S5 the other month. I told them hell no.
It went to the Audi dealer and got an OEM windshield which was around $1200. Installation was around $500. The full DAP calibration was about $700. I believe the bill after I threw window tint on that I was reimbursed for was a little over $2500. I paid nothing out of pocket due to $0 glass deductible coverage (which is mandatory in MA).

TLDR: seems right at the dealership.

Yes, Yes it does, if you are in Canada. For the US it would be what the other guys are mentioning above.
