'17 Q7 - Suspension Pop/Clunk

2017 audi q7 suspension popping noise solved
I also have 17 q7 and replaced the bushing and the problem was still there and I found fix for this. Turns out the front strut brace bolts was little loose and it was making popping noise when driving out driveway. Hope this helps for the q7 owners. 👍👍👍

I have a "heavy metallic rattle" that only happens when the suspension is unloaded. Like crossing railroad tracks, or going over seriously bumpy/broken terrain (like a gravel washboard road). I had the car in the air a few days ago and all of the bushings look immaculate (despite having 86k miles), and the ball joints feel solid even with prybar level persuasion. It's clearly a "loose" something in the front left suspension, but I can't track it down to save my butt.

PLease keep me posted. I'm |..| that close to strapping a GoPro under there to watch the suspension as I can't find anything that is obviously wrong from visual inspection.

Looking forward to what they find on the chassis ears. I think a lot of us are in the same boat. My gut on my 2.0T is motor mounts. They are certainly leaking badly and need replaced. Have them ordered, just need to find the time to install.
