2023 - Brake Controller Install & Lower Dash Panel
I'm trying to figure out how to access the factory wiring harness (towing package.) I can't figure out how to get the lower panel off (by the pedals) Before refresh, the under dash panel appeared to be a separate piece. Now it might be one piece with the parts under the steer wheel.
Has anyone ~2021/22 and later removed this panel or tried to install a brake controller?
Here is a Q8 part. Looks like 1 piece. I can't find the part in any Q7 parts diagrams.

I have a 2020 q7. So a facelift model. I didn’t need to remove any panels to access the cable. It was to the left of the peddles. Somewhat hidden though. It is wrapped in foam so may not look like a cable plug. You have to pull it out and remove the cover.
I don’t think that’s changed in 21 or 22 years.
