Best all season tires?

My personal favorite all season tires are Continental Extreme Contact DWS. I ran them exclusively on my A6's and just wish they came in 20" because I would put them on my Q7.

I rotate my OEM GY runflats (April though 1/2 December) with GY winter tires (1/2 December through March), and have only 20K on the ODO total split between the two sets. Both AS and winter tires can probably last another season, but I may need to replace both next year due to age - both will be 6+ years old at that point.

Same here. ( Continental DWS)Have also had Pirelli Scorpion Verde. No complaints on any but current Michelin PSAS4s are favorites of the three. It’s very close though.

one trip to daycare with black ice and the Michelin PSAS4s fitted had me ordering real snow tires that night. i've always just ran all season or all weather tires year round but now with my wife and kid involved i decided to finally go with dedicated winter tires (vredestein wintrac pro)
if you think about it, it's really not that much of an added expense as you're keeping miles off your good weather tires for ~4 months out of the year. embarrassingly, that was a fact that didn't not occur to me until 2 weeks ago as i always looked at having dedicated winter and summer tires as spending twice as much on tires as absolutely necessary :|

all season tires are a jack of all trades but a master of none. I run them in the warmer months in New England. I run snows from mid november until mid/late april. one trip to the guard rail, ditch, tree, etc. and that investment in snow tires (even performance snows which are not mushy) looks really cheap when you decided to take your car out in bad weather and you found out your all seasons were meh in the frozen weather.
another option is this new category of tires called "all weather tires" which michelin, firestone, and nokian all share space in. the cross climate, WRG3/WRG4, and other models are a good compromise and will get you out of a pickle in the snow/ice but still are not as good as a true winter/snow tire.
a lot of this comes down to where you live. in New England on my B9 S5 I ran all seasons in the winter and summers in the summer. in my ski shuttle Q7 where I take it out skiing over 35 days a year, dedicated winter tires are purchased every two years or about every 30K miles regardless of how much tread I have left... best of luck.

Best All-Season A/T Q7 tires for $232/tire!
I drive fast, corner hard, go offroad, and the best, quietest, 65k mile warrantied tire is the FALKEN WILDPEAK A/T Trail. I spent my money & tested 3x different top tires: Continental, Michelin, BFGoodrich.
This one beats them all. Corner hard...no squeels at 60+ mph. Stable, extreme weather rated for snow too, steel belted but feel nice and soft. V-rated up to 149mph, XL-rated for Extra Loads.

Personally, I’d replace them with all weather tires (3 peak mountain symbol) if you’re going to encounter snow.
I ran with Nokian WRG4’s in 19’s on my 2019 Q7. They were very quiet. Other options are teh Michelin Cross Climate 2’s which I had on my Touareg - also a very good tire.
