No, I'd bet that they wouldn't feel nearly as soft in 21".
I would caution you to ensure that your installer pays close attention (and hopefully has a road force balancer). IMy first set of WRG4's were not very well balanced. My local tire shop ended up replacing all for to get them to acceptable levels..
Agreed you should have kept your 68 Firebird! I had a 97 WS-6 TransAm and a 01 Formula Firehawk. Long live the birds! lol
