Climate Issues - Too hot or too cold
I just bought a new 22 Q7 Premium Plus, and so far so good. Except for 2 items. One is the Drive Malfunction that happened about 1 min into my drive on Saturday. I will post to that thread.
The other is that my heater/ac seems to be very erratic. I have it set on 69 degrees Auto and synced. But while driving it gets either too hot or too cold for a few minutes. Mainly cold air in the footwell, but also from the top vents. Not sure if its quick in reacting to slight temp changes (like over compensating).
Is this a known issue? I do not have 4 zone, so maybe that is the problem?

It seems logical. It works the same in my car. Automatic air conditioning, after changing the setting, tries to reach the new temperature as quickly as possible. Therefore, in the initial phase, there is an increased supply of warm or cold air. After reaching the set temperature, the system starts working again in the maintaining temperature mode.
It takes some time for the temperature to reach this state to equalize the temperature throughout the cabin, also due to a certain inertia of the sensors.

Yes, I agree it is suppose to work like this to some degree, but I have owned many cars in the past, and its never been this noticeable and uncomfortable. It like it blast the A/C exactly when its slightly too warm, then blasts the heat, when is slightly too cool. I have it set to 70F and it becomes too cold then I have to raise to 71 or 72. Then it becomes too warm and I lower back to 70.
