Coding to Make the LED Headlights Brighter
Has anyone successfully done this? I know that the U.S. limits how bright they can be, and I know that we can code them to make them brighter. We did it on our BMW, and I know of others that have done so as well.
Also, are the LED's in the U.S. able to be coded to be adaptive? Thats the one thing we hate about the car, we loved it on our previous cars and our BMW.

I'm curious why you need your LED lights to be "adaptive".
I'm not sure if the LED lights are adaptive in a way that they are moving or not but they are definitely "adaptive" by having multiple LED cells that turn on with the steering wheel moving at low speeds to improve visibility around the corner.
As far as I know LED high beams are pretty wide beam and they don't need to move. I remember my 2005 A6 with Xenon lights that turned significantly with the steering wheel at highway speeds. Cool feature but probably useless with LED lights. I did not notice that on my 2014 A6 or 2017 Q7 with full LED lights.

The headlight LEDS do not change when turning the steering wheel, it's a separate light in which you can manually activate by hitting the buttton next to the lights switch on the dash.

To resurrect an old thread, did you ever find an answer to your question?
