Looking at the labor time in the TSB: What does "TU" mean in Audi vernacular?

time unit. it is audi's cryptic way of billing you. I forget how many time units there are in an hour. I think maybe 10?

I believe it is Time Unit. Essentially a percent of an hour.

I have been living with it for almost 2 months now and accidentally bumped into this thread - and I am glad I did! So it looks like a common problem.

Anyone got it done from NJ?

I spoke to my dealer (Princeton Audi) and they are acting dumb.

PS: 2017 Q7 3.0, 69k miles.

They originally quoted me around $1500 and told I should pay for the repair. I handed them a copy of the PDF (technical service bulletin) and told many from this forum got it done under 8yr/80,000 extension. The service director had to make a couple of phone calls before coming to an agreement.
