Understood. Mine are indeed run-flats.

I hate the Pirelli's. They have become noisy with 10K of wear and start to sound like hub bearings going bad. I also feel like they tramline A LOT and even give other "side-hop" feel if hitting a bump in a turn. Alignment was checked, and the care rides better with my winter tires (Blizzak) than with the Pirelli's. I know you said you want to stay RFT, but I'd take the credit and go with regular tires instead, unfortunately. If that is really not an option, I would go with the Goodyears again - I have not heard of people having the chunking problem with replacement Goodyears, so maybe they are different than what came from the factory?

Per my post from back in March: Another RFT option. Only about 2K on the tires since purchase but still very quiet. So far so good.

I just installed Bridgestone Alenza Sport Run Flats in 275/45/20 on my 2018 Prestige with 30k from the GY RFT's. Noticeable difference. Only have a few miles on them but initial impressions are very positive. Only downside is the speedo is about 1.5-2 mph off (faster, reading 70 when GPS apps show 68-69 mph). Much cheaper option too.

Correct, there are run-flat options in 275/45/20.
BTW those Alenza tires are on crazy sale right now. $199 a piece from tire rack.

I just purchased a 2018 Q7 P+ with 35K miles on it and noticed what I think is chunking? Pics attached. Would that be covered under the TSB?

I would think no since not original tires. You would have to take it up with Goodyear.

Oh interesting, I thought the Good Year Eagle Sport all season 285/45/R20 AOE Run Flat tires are OEM? It doesn't look like the tires were changed before I purchased the Q7

I think you should just dump those tires when you are closer to wearing them down and do not replace with the same thing. Goodyear tires for these SUVs suck, plain and simple!

IMHO those are not OEM given you said you have 35K miles on your Q7.
