Default Offset range for 19" wheel rims

Is a 35mm offset on a 19x8.5 rim problematic for the Q7? Wheel-size.com says the offset should be 25-33mm, but it looks like the site simply takes the top and bottom ranges seen in the matrix instead of calculating something specific for the Q7.

Ebay shows several Audi-ish rims that look spot on (see here, here, and here) but that offset...

Clearly, I don't know what I'm doing when it comes to understanding rims.

You simply can't just rely on the offset number to determine if a wheel fits or not, because the offset is simply a measurement of the distance between the hub mounting surface and the midline of the wheel (from inner to outer edge) and often unrelated to the spoke size, thickness, and design. If a spoke is very thick or has some sort of design where the inner portion gets closer to the midline as it gets closer to the rim, then even an offset that falls within oem parameters may not clear the brake calipers.

Only way to really find out is to do a test-fit. For now, offset can just be used as a guide to see "what might fit".

Thanks for clarifying, this is helpful to know.
