Default Ordering Q7 real soon

Hey guys,

Just signed up to the forums and checking in. Been lurking for a while though just absorbing great information.

I decided to get a 17 Q7 after some serious deliberation. My original pick was a 2011-2013 Cayenne turbo, but the first Q7 commercial piqued my interest. Then after some serious interneting and soul searching I decided to go with the four rings route. The technology offered was the deciding factor for me.

My build will be:

Night Black Prestige
gray oak inlays
Black leather
Driver Assist pack
Adaptive suspension
Night vision camera
front plate delete
rear airbags
black optics package
towing package

Should be receiving my final quote Monday

I am pretty excited since this is my first brand new car purchase.

Congrats, exciting!

Did you read up on the rear side airbags? I ordered them on mine and now wish I had not, due to my dogs riding in the back seat. Might be a problem with small kids too.

Also, I wish I had ordered the Rear Seat Entertainment PREP, just for resale value. I will never get the actual RSE units (dogs don't know how to use the tablets), but having the RSE Prep there may help resale to folks with kids.

Thanks man. I have looked it up . I have found mixed views on the topic. I chose the side of an extra layer of protection is better. As long as the infant seat is properly secured it should not be in the bags deployment path. Also it there is signs that it might be an issue I will just put my son's seat in the middle.

I tend to keep vehicles I am not worrying about resale value too much. I did think bout the rse but my lil manot is content with his ipad.
