Thank you. The ability to allow the interior to somewhat cool off before entering he vehicle is very important for us, esp during the summer months here in the south.

I have been reading over a lot of posts in this forum already to educate myself about this new vehicle and really appreciate all of the helpful posts!

The mirror tilts but if you have the overhead camera (which the Prestige comes with), you will just end up using it. You get a very good view of the curb or parking lines. Works better than the tilting mirror.

Not true, at least in the US. It is illegal for a mfr to cancel the warranty because of aftermarket accessories. They would have to prove that the accessory was directly responsible for any failure.

There is a video on here somewhere of a Viper remote start installed on a 2017 Q7. I have it on my 2012.

Oh, and you don't necessarily need another FOB is you get the Viper system that can start the car via a smartphone app. That system does require a subscription, but not nearly as expensive as Audi Connect.

With regards to ACC alignment, it has to be performed when there is severe suspension damage and/or replacement its components. When my air suspension pump went on my previous S6 the ACC and the lane assist stopped working because the suspension was in the safe mode. The radar sensors had to be calibrated (thank god under warranty), according to shop manual/computer. You have to hook the car up to the calibration equipment and adjust settings as the software tells you. Kind of like a regular alignment but all through software. It took a good 4-6 hours to calibrate all the systems after the air pump was changed. this included cameras, lane assist, brake guard and of course ACC.
