Same issue with 2020-Q8. I am picking it up from Service for the 6th time in the AM. Already been 'fixed' multiple times with 'loose connectors' and other 'guesses'. Anybody else encountering this? They obviously have no idea how to fix it. I have plenty of documentation. The last couple of times it has been returned 'not able to duplicate'. Had a 19 mile loaner for the last two weeks. Guess I need to take pictures of the fault next time to make damn sure it is clear that we are not imaginining it comments/suggestions/hints/advice?

escalate to Audi of America next time it happens. obviously the dealer is not doing the job right the first time... I would tell the dealer they have one more time to fix it or you're escalating though...

Default Shift lock motor

I got the "Selector lever malfunction" today. I did I a reset where you hold down the gas pedal to the kickdown switch for 30 seconds, turn off the ignition for 3 minutes and restart but no change. I used the OBD11 and erased all the codes, no change. Took the whole shifter assembly out and apart, there is a small motor in there that runs forward and backward, engaging and disengaging the lock. I took it out and put battery power on it and it was running intermittently, kept turning it over by hand hoping it had just been running a few revolutions so either corrosion or dust from the brushes had built up, after a wile it would run fine in both direction's. When I put it all back together I set the gear that the motor drive to be in the lock position, there is a small cam at the end of the axel that I set on the 3 o'clock position. So far it works, I can hear the motor running.
