Default Snow and parking sensors

We don't get much snow in NC. When I took a ride of 30+ minutes on slushy roads, I had a problem with the parking sensors! When I slowed down or stopped for a light, the center-right and front-right triggered. I had to keep pressing the parking aid button to stop it. Being only 5-10 minutes from my destination, I did not want to stop and clean it.
Is there a way to turn it off for that trip like auto stop-start?
Sensors are always a problem in bad weather. Hopefully autonomous driving will handle this much better in the future.
