up grading my car

I went to a 3.0T Q7 and tuned it after a year for more power. But I came from a 4.0T V8 in a A8L with tuning software (and 600+ lb-ft at the wheels).
At the end of the day I have driven a few 2.0T Q7 loaners and they are not slow by any means. If you regularly pack the car to the limit with people, luggage, and tow with it the V6 might be a better bet.
What was said about the 2.0T is true. Better on MPGs, less maintenance cost, and it is very reliable. I really would urge you to drive both... and decide for yourself.
What ruined it for me was I wanted a "cheaper loaded car" so was cornered into looking at prestige trim MY 2017 cars which all more or less came with the V6. I chose interior options over the MPG aspect. Would I have been disappointed in the 2.0T? Most likely not. I haven't towed anything over 2,750 lbs or so either... no real need for the V6 other than a more thrilling driving experience. Hope this helps.

just test drove the 2021 just now. My two cents, it drove very nice. you do notice a little underpowered but not as bad as I was expecting. hands down worth the money. a little pricy for my taste. will see how I make out.

Turbo cars like frequent oil changes. I recommend changing the oil every 5K and call it a day. You should see no lifespan difference in the vehicle whether it is turbocharged or supercharged these days...
