What is the name of the attached model?

I saw a car like this at an autocross this weekend and I really like the style of the vehicle. The owner told me he had another one with an A8 engine in it but I forgot to ask him what the cars model name was. Can anyone help me.
Thanks,
Mickey

(long) That is a 90 series Audi Coupe Quattro 20v (nice one too)...
...it is the car that replaced the Audi Turbo Quattro Coupe(Urquattro) although it had no turbo just a 4-valve per cylinder in-line 5. The european version of this car had a 20v turbocharged in-line 5 called the RS2, a wicked machine. I think Audi decided not to sell the RS2 in the US do to emission constraints.
I'm guessing you are in the VA/Maryland area because the only 90 coupe quattro I know of with a 4.2lt in it is my buddy Eric M's dad's car that was featured in European Car 2 months ago. There is another 90/V8 project in the process at Shokan Audi. If you wanted to buy a stock 90 Coupe Quattro in the same shape as the pic you are looking at $4k-$6k. I've seen some sharp 90 20v CQs that went for less but you have to really look for them. Anything under $3500 could be a project. Hope this helps.

It was an autocross at Cal Ripken Stadium...
in Aberdeen, MD. It was a Porsche club event. The car he had there that day had the normal engine in it. He said he had another car at home with the V8 engine in it that was or will be featured in European car magazine.
Thanks for the information.

Thanks for the info (more)
The autocross was in Aberdeen, MD with the Porsche club. I asked someone who the car belonged to and the owner said, "Some crazy Italian." He was talking about himself.
The car he had that day didn't have the V8 engine in it but he told me about the one that has the V8 and he told me it was in the magazine you mentioned. I went out and bought it but didn't see his car. Thanks for letting me know it was two months ago. I'll look for that back issue online.

Re: Thanks for the info (more, more)
Look for I think the May issue. I don't have it with me, but I'm sure of it. It's black. They have a fleet of Audi's. His son has a tricked 83 Urq that is silver and black. His daughter has a red CGT, THey're Audifanatics, but aren't we all?
