In Jan. one of my friends lost his Mom in an accident in Jamaica, she was on vacation, her, her new husband (married less than a year) and another couple were there on vacation. The two women went sight seeing and were hit by a speeding bus. She was killed instantly, the friend was airlifted home two days later. She had battled and beaten breast cancer 2 yrs earlier and buried her first husband (37 yrs) during the same time from a massive heart attack. It's been 3 months and my friend is still devestated, and the justice system in Jamaica is a joke.

Then in Feb. my Grandfather died, it was expected, had been lingering for sometime, so we knew it was coming, just wish I had had the time to get back to see him. Talk to my Grandmother every couple of days to keep up on her.

In March, we had two funeral's to attend, two different friends lost parents. One from cancer and one from complications to heart surgery.

Now we are into April and the wife's Uncle died last Monday, the funeral is tomorrow. Her Grandmother is really bad off, between alzheimers and old age (she's 92) it's touch and go, every week we get an update on her, one week it's real bad, the next week it's so-so. We found out today at the Rosary there are three other Aunts/Uncles who are really bad off as well. One of her Aunts (93) goes in for lung surgery in May. Guess the only bright spot, we have two or three family members getting married this year.
