Brian,
I have to say, up until this point I was getting pretty impressed with all you have done to rebuild support for Avalon in the denver audi enthusiast community. This sale is a great example, and a great opportunity for anyone in the market for Stasis equipment.
That said, I seriously wonder about your statement:
"Available at Avalon Motorsports, your only authorized source for STaSIS products in Colorado"
what is up with that claim? When I look on the Stasis Engineering website, the only outlet they mention in colorado is not Avalon, but is Prestige. I also know I was recently able to get some Stasis equipment from another shop here in town as well. So, seeing this claim makes me really wonder about Avalon.
Encouraging sales through you is a great thing. My opinion is that making questionable claims to get those sales will quickly undo all the work you have been doing on Avalon's reputation.

Thank you Andrew, but let me take a shot at clarifying here....
First off, let me excuse any arrogance that I may have portrayed. You are correct in the regard that Prestige is a dealer listed on the STaSIS website, however they are primarily a retailer for the STaSIS Challenge and Signature cars. You'll notice that all of the names listed are dealerships. I believe, as Joe said, you can buy products through them although they will usually not sell the items unless they are going to do the install. They have to be able to have access to the products since they are selling new cars with new STaSIS parts installed on them. And in regards to the website, you will not see ANY of the non-dealership STaSIS sales and install shops listed on the site at present, such as Matrix Engineering, GMG Racing or Avalon Motorsports.
Secondly, I do not know where you bought the parts from locally, however unless it was Prestige I can assure you that they are not an "authorized STaSIS distributor"... whatever that means to you. There are always sub-dealers around the country, because realistically, most vendors can get pretty much whatever they want at some discount, and then resell it. Their margins will usually suffer however, and STaSIS likely will not warranty the work or parts in such an instance. I know they definitely will not get the same customer support from STaSIS as an auth. dealer would. I will call to clarify this when I get to the shop.
Lastly, when sales like this go on, the "other" distributors accross the country will not have access to those prices unless, again, they purchase the parts from an authorized representative of STaSIS products.
I hope this clears things up, and Andrew I dont believe that making a statement like this regarding an account that Avalon has had for years should even remotely warrant grounds for dissolution of all the work that has been done in recent weeks. I appreciate your thoughts and criticism!

agree, well stated. thanks for the clarification.
I for one am glad to see the level headed response. It was the previous bickering between different shops that appeared here that left a bad taste for me. My concern with statements like the one you made was that we might be headed down that road again.
I am glad to see we are not. I cannot understate the appreciation I have for that, and the likely hood that business will do well if you stay off that path.
thanks again, Brian, for the honest and level headed clarification. I do appreciate it.
