Default Steve couple of points

But first, perhaps a better map to use (although even it can use a tad bit of PS help):
<img src="http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a159/nord1899/Misc/mmpfulltrack.jpg">

"There were the expected high speed sweepers, some hairpins, and our favorite - a nice section of S-curves. Ironically the S section is actually dubbed "The 3 D's" for its three points - Demon, Devil and Diablo."

The triple D's are turn #7, which is a triple apex left hander, not an S curve. The S curve is turn #16-18, the Attitudes.

Otherwise, nice write up.

Default Yeah 8 is tricky. Long sweeper, ever so slightly off camber. You want to go full out, but need damn

good traction to do so.

I generally am about 1/3 throttle thru the whole turn. On street tires mind you.

Default Toughest corners for me were 6 and 21

Six- I thought I had it down and then realized there were a lot more options to experiment with.

21 - I had a tendency to overcook the entry and blow through the apex. I think it looks like you have more space then you actually do.

Default 2nd #6 and add #12

I'd always brake too much coming off that straight...I think I got that turn once all weekend:/

I gotta say my favorite sections were the triple (7) and 3-5.

Default That was Jason's change to the article..I didn't know the names...

Thanks for pointing that out though.

BTW, turn #6 was kickin my butt..I think I only did it well 1-2 times ever. I also could have done #14 better.

Default During ACNA my toughest were 6 and 15

I'd always turn in way too early on them. Other turns where I know I could do better are 13, 19, and 21.

But, I've since gotten 15 nailed, and I've gotten better at 6. But 13 still screws me over. And I know I should have the ability to go thru 19 and 21 faster, but for whatever reason I can't.

Default I'm a retired USAF Reserve Flight Examiner pilot.

I have about 5000 hours in the Galaxy. You secure the plane and I can fly it.
