Default I got a ticket in Denver for being the second through a yellow once..

Cop said it was the law that only car can be setting in the intersection during the change from yellow to red, all others are SOL and will get tickets if caught / seen.

I have not done it since. Besides, like others said, there are WAY too many clueless people that gun it through the change over and I <kinda> like the passenger side of my car + my son is usually sitting back there.

BTW, I'm from CA originally, lets talk more about some drivers inability to learn to MERGE ONTO THE HIGHWAY instead.. ;-)

Default That's news to me.

I thought:
A: If you're past the white line you have to go
B: You cannot accellerate under yellow (with the exception of A.

Default That's what I've always understood the law to be. Nobody follows it, though.

And there are a lot of intersections that would gridlock if people did follow it.

Default His point was you shouldn't be passed the white line, only one car can be at a time..

You're right though, it's silly. They nail people for it all the time in Westy too, at the intersection of Sheridan and 92nd. They sit on motorbikes waiting for a bunch o' cars to slide through. I think they are looking for the true rde light violators though, but who knows.

The guy that nabbed me was having a bad day for whatever reason (or didn't like Audi's) ;-)..

That's what I always thought. The cop told Herr differently, though.
