You have a choice of these two UrS4's...
One is a '93, 151k miles, all records since new, complete RS2'd, big reds, exhaust, suspension. Doesn't have a FMIC or EBC. Windshield is cracked, drivers seat needs to be redyed at the very least. asking $10k.
'95 S6, 120k miles, all stock, black, black leather, very clean, asking $7500.
So is it better to buy a pretty much completed project and then vet it, or start on a solid blank canvas and go from there? If I buy the stock car, eventually it will have a complete RS2/brakes/suspension on it...

Doc, my bud back home just had to make the same decision...
he bought the fully done stg4 car and couldn't be happier! Threw on a 034 FMIC and took it to BIR this week, car ran wonderfully on that track. Much faster than his old stg2 b5s4. If i know you, you'll RS2 that hog pretty quickly so you might as well save a bunch of dough and buy it complete. How many miles since the conversion/upgrade?

what color is the '93?
I like the S6's because the bumpers are body colored - but this is less apparent on a darker s4.

Well...
The RS2 stuff is getting harder and harder to find. In particular, the Exhaust Manifold and RS2 KKK Turbo.
Now Javad at 034efi offers a Garrett Hybrid that has the same or better performance then the RS2. Also he sells a BB turbo GT2871.
I dont want to add up the price but lets try:
- RS2 Software 400 bucks
- RS2 Injectors 500 bucks or go w/ Racetronix and save 300
- RS2 Exhaust Cam...800 bucks..or find a 7A cam in junk yard and save 600 bucks
- RS2 turbo 1500 bucks or save 800 w/ 034efi
- Stock MAF is fine just remove screens
- Samco Hoses 300 bucks
- Hyperboost By-Pass Valve 180
- Suspension w/ Camber plates 1500 is a guess
- Big Red Brakes Stage III $1800
- Stromung Exhaust $1200
Around 6000 or so to go RS2 plus install, if you dont do it yourself.

I sold my UrS4...
and to buy another one, and not modifying it, would be an excercise in futility.
Stock, and UrS4 is too cushy, too slow (relatively, compared to modern cars), and is just begging to be improved upon.
I am also interested in a RS2'd Pearl UrS4 out in California, and one that's available here locally through 3zero3 motorsports.
You need the FMIC. I want an UrS again.

I called about the one at 3zero3, they
never sent me pics of it. I also thought the asking price was quite high considering the mileage and lack of a big brake kit and FMIC.
